(2) stretches width-wise approximately twice its original size;

(3) retains its shape well;

(4) absorbs excess perspiration;

(5) washable and reusable

Also can add elastic to make it or make it in rib, not only plain
-Elasticated Stockinette: Enhanced with elastic thread

-Ribbed stockinette is a heavier material, suitable for use as an undercast stockinette or for covering splinting materials.
